Introducing Chic Models radiant Model of the Month for December, the enchanting Brittany Patterson. Brittany is from the picturesque landscapes of Washington state, but all the clouds and rain led her to reach for sunshine in her adult life and currently calls the sun-soaked city of Los Angeles home. Brittany’s journey in the industry has been marked by passion, resilience, and a commitment to breaking barriers. Modeling has always piqued her interest for as long as she could remember. She had zero proximity to the industry when she started out nor did she have much knowledge of how it worked, but she learned everything as she went. She started out shooting with local photographers for fun and realized she really enjoyed the work. After doing some freelance collaborations she quickly learned that getting an agent might be in her best interest, so she signed with her first modeling agency in Portland, Oregon at eighteen, setting the stage for a career that would soon blossom.
Brittany has worked on a variety of projects spanning from film (Young Sheldon) to runway shows and tours with Oribe, Goldwell, and Seneca & Spruce. She has done commercial and media shoots with brands like Wella, Heidi Fish Swimwear, Kiss Prom and even dabbling in the content creation and media realms with brands like Smashbox cosmetics, Wet ‘n Wild, and the TAIMI app.
Balancing academia and modeling, Brittany dedicated six years to pursuing both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree. Now, with modeling taking center stage, her short-term aspirations include booking a commercial campaign in the near future. Drawing inspiration from the trailblazers of the world, Brittany, as an LGBTQIA+ model, is poised to contribute to the reshaping of industry norms. Her vision encompasses a future where inclusivity reigns supreme, embracing models of diverse backgrounds, identities, orientations, ages, weights, and heights. Looking ahead, Brittany envisions a modeling landscape that fosters creativity and innovation. She is eager to collaborate with brands that champion novel ideas and celebrate a cutting-edge aesthetic. As she continues to refine her craft, Brittany Patterson stands at the intersection of ambition and artistry, ready to carve out a space for herself in the ever-evolving realm of fashion and modeling.
